BURSTAMP (formerly Burpengary Stamps) commenced trading in 1997.
Our firm is committed to supplying fine quality postage stamps from Australia and Papua New Guinea. We also stock a good range of material from other British Commonwealth countries, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
We operate principally as a mail order business supplying direct orders by clients. In addition we produce regular postal bid sales (similar to “silent” auctions) that feature a diverse range of philatelic material.
We endeavour to attend a good number of stamp shows in the greater-Brisbane area and Queensland country, together with major shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Our firm is a member of the Australasian Philatelic Traders Association (APTA), so clients may trade with us with full confidence.
Proprietor: Stewart Robbins
Stewart has been a prominent philatelist in the Brisbane area for more than 20 years and has held executive positions with a number of philatelic societies – Currently, he is president of Caboolture Stamp Club.
He is a degree-qualified accountant and former CPA.
He is presently the Queensland representative on the national executive committee of APTA.
He is married (wife Leanda) and has 2 children (Jeffrey 13 years and Matthew 9 years).
